Welcome to Tacos Frontera, Houston's premier destination for authentic Tijuana-style tacos. Founded in July 2023 by Erik and Maribel Leal, our mission is to bring the vibrant flavors of Tijuana's street tacos to the heart of Texas. Located at 4805 Highway 6 North, our restaurant offers a warm and inviting atmosphere where every dish is crafted with passion and tradition.
Inspired by the rich culinary heritage of Tijuana, Erik and Maribel embarked on a journey to introduce Houstonians to the unique taste of flame-grilled meats served on freshly made yellow corn tortillas. After extensive research and countless trips to Los Angeles, a city renowned for its Tijuana-style street food, they perfected their recipes and opened Tacos Frontera. Since then, we've been committed to providing a dining experience that transports our guests straight to the bustling streets of Tijuana.
